FAQs

GENERAL:

  1. PARKING:
    • Caringbah: We have 4 car spots out the front of our studio, otherwise there is plenty of on street parking and a huge 100 + car spot car park behind our studio!
    • Ashbury: There is plenty on on street parking.
    • Alexandria: Parking available across the road in Mascot Bunnings, or we are a short 2 min walk from Mascot station.
  2. WHEELCHAIR ACCESS: yes all 3 studios have wheel chair access. Caringbah is the easiest being flat straight off the street, and Alexandria even have a lift!

PHYSIOTHERAPY

  1. DO I NEED A REFERRAL? No referral needed, although if you have one from your GP or specialist certainly bring that along, it is however not a necessity!
  2. CAN I CLAIM MY SESSION: Of course, we have HiCaps terminals in every studio so you can claim with your private health insurance and medicare on the spot.

  3. HOW DO I KNOW WHICH TYPE OF PILATES IS RIGHT FOR ME: Although not essential we recommend an Initial Pilates Consult before you begin your Pilates sessions with BPS. This enables us to clearly understand your goals, past injuries and determine which type of Pilates sessions you will be best suited to!

CLASSES

  1. HOW DO I KNOW WHICH TYPE OF PILATES IS RIGHT FOR ME: Although not essential we recommend an Initial Pilates Consult before you begin your Pilates sessions with BPS. This enables us to clearly understand your goals, past injuries and determine which type of Pilates sessions you will be best suited to!
  2. DO I HAVE TO HAVE AN ASSESSMENT FIRST: No, if you have done Pilates before (or even if you haven’t) and you feel confident in your body and it’s ability to move, you don’t need an assessment. Our Instructors will let you know if they see something while you’re in class that they feel needs further investigating!

WORK COVER AND CTP

  1. DO YOU TAKE WORK COVER / CTP / INSURANCE CLIENTS: yes we do, you will need to have your claim number ready before your first session, other wise you will be required to pay privately and organise your own reimbursement from your insurer. Once you have your claim number you can give that to our friendly admin team and they will look after the rest for you!
